Head of Household Manual · the Home OS

The same engine that balances a business's books takes care of your home's. The household is its own workspace: its books never mix with the business's, even though you're the same person with a single login. The twelve agents are relabeled for home life.

Log in as maria.marrero@hogar.pr / Maria2026 — head of household of
Hogar Marrero. (Or log in as Felipe and switch to 🏠 Hogar Marrero from
the selector: he owns the café *and* heads this household.)

The family

In Family you see each member. To a member like Sofía you assign a monthly allowance and a card; she logs in with her own login (sofia@hogar.pr / Sofia2026) and sees only her allowance — never the household accounts. Just like the employee in the business: transparency over what's theirs, privacy over everything else.

Shared expenses and goals

A large expense is split among the members according to the rule you define, and each savings goal (trip $2.5K/$4.0K, emergency fund $3.9K/$6.0K) shows its progress. The household books also balance by double entry: $6,360 = $6,360.

The idea: the same accounting rigor of a business, put at the service of a
family's peace of mind. No spreadsheets, no end-of-month surprises.
