# Owner Manual

As the owner you see the whole business on one screen and, below it, twelve agents that have
already done the work: they captured the expenses, reconciled the bank, prepared the
collections and the payments, ran payroll, and left the ledger balanced. Your job is to
decide, not to type.

> **Log in as** `felipe@laaurora.pr` / `Aurora2026` — owner of **Café La Aurora**.

## The Summary

It's the first thing you see. Four indicators up top, calculated live from the double-entry
ledger (these are not figures typed in by hand):

| Indicator | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Available cash** | What's in the accounts today, already reconciled |
| **Revenue · period** | Revenue recognized in the period |
| **Gross margin** | Revenue minus cost of sales, as a percentage |
| **Net result** | The profit for the period, live |

In the Café La Aurora demo that comes out to **cash $19.8K**, **revenue $55.1K**,
**margin 65 %**, and **result $18.9K**. Below it, the Result strip breaks down
revenue, COGS, margin, operating expenses, and net; then the recent activity with
the agent that touched each transaction, and finally the **Cónclave alerts** (what
should matter to you today: $2.4K in receivables, $1.0K in payables).

## The sections

The sidebar takes you to each part of the operation:

| Section | What for | Agent behind it |
|---|---|---|
| **Transactions** | Each transaction, its category and status | Lente · Libro |
| **Receivables (AR)** | Invoices issued and what's left to collect | Cobro |
| **Payables (AP)** | Accounts payable, due dates, early-payment discounts | Mecenas |
| **Payroll** | Payroll runs, gross, withholdings, net | Salario |
| **Tax** | Filings (IVU, 941), due dates and amounts | Fisco |
| **Cash forecast** | Week-by-week projection, inflows vs outflows | Caudal |
| **Ledger** | The complete ledger and the trial balance | Mayor |
| **Agents** | The catalog of the twelve and their status | Cónclave |
| **Audit** | The hash-chained, tamper-proof record of every action | Mayor |

Every row opens: click a transaction and the detail appears with the action you
can take —for example, **categorize** it by assigning it an account— and the agent
executes it on the ledger.

## Ask Norte

At the top right you have **Norte**, the natural-language assistant. Ask
"how much cash do I have?", "how much am I owed?", "how much did I spend on payroll?" and
it answers by reading your ledger in the moment. Norte is read-only: it informs you, it
doesn't move money.

## The close

When you close the period, **Mayor** verifies that the trial balance balances (∑ debits =
∑ credits), seals the close in the audit chain, and leaves everything ready for your
accountant. In the demo the balance ties out at **$91,216 = $91,216**.

> **The idea:** you see the forest —cash, margin, result, what's coming due— and the
> agents tend to every tree. If something doesn't add up, you know before anyone else.
